Located within the residential community of Clayton Heights in Surrey, The Residence at Clayton Heights has accommodations for 131 persons in care and includes a wide-range of amenities, variety of common-use space, outdoor patios, and green space which is accessible by all persons. This state of the art facility emulates new models and philosophies in residential care and housing. Both the staffing model and care delivery model are incorporated into the facility’s design model ensuring healthy staff culture with work enjoyment, work relationships, and efficiency in work flow and processes.
Aligning the facility’s design with its care and staffing models enables us to provide individualized care efficiently and effectively. This also gives us the ability to quickly alter the care delivery to adapt to the changing needs of both the persons-in-care as well as the health authority, resulting in a design model that achieves long-term sustainability.
The operations were successfully launched in September 2012, as a fully licensed facility for three distinct care delivery programs to specialized populations:
Residential Complex Care for seniors
Acquired Brain Injury Program for young adults
Mental Health and Substance Use Older Adult Tertiary Program
